COMFORT TRIO is formed at the end of 2022 with the vocation of generating and developing from the personal perspective of its members, an eminently jazz repertoire, with folk and popular music as points of reference and inspiration. The trio stands out for its sound, where the love of music, friendship, joy and the personal tastes and influences of each member serve as fundamental ingredients for their personal and unique style.
The project defends its trio formation (guitar, bass, drums) as a format for creative freedom, improvisation and growth, where these experienced musicians celebrate their musical union developing a repertoire, always fresh, with original compositions, adaptations of jazz standards, original arrangements of traditional themes and songs by different artists such as Richie Valens, Bill Frisell, Julian Lage, etc.
In 2024 they published their first self-titled EP. Recorded live in June 2023 at La Mina Estudios (Sevilla, Spain), produced by Comfort Trio and Nacho García.
